Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Oncology -New Brunswick, NJ

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist for Oncology in New Jersey to drive adoption of company medicines among healthcare providers through scientific engagement and account management, operating 100% in field-based territory coverage.
Responsibilities
- Promote approved Bristol Myers Squibb oncology indications within assigned territory to meet sales targets compliantly
- Create demand through balanced clinical and scientific dialogue articulating product rationale for appropriate patients
- Develop and maintain high-level scientific expertise across assigned product portfolio and therapeutic areas
- Prepare and execute comprehensive territory and account plans; conduct in-office presentations and speaker programs
- Gather customer insights and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver superior customer experience and support business objectives
Requirements
- Advanced scientific degree or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotechnology sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing experience
- Proven ability to communicate scientific and clinical data accurately to physicians
- Demonstrated track record building credibility with healthcare providers and influencers
- Oncology experience preferred
- Strong account management, sales competencies, and history meeting/exceeding performance goals
- Cross-functional collaboration skills with team-oriented mindset
- Patient-centric approach with understanding of patient journey and healthcare landscape
