Job Description

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects (ground-up and renovations)
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to assess scope and requirements
• Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and vendors
• Collaborate with the preconstruction and project management teams to develop bid strategies
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis using estimating software
• Participate in value engineering and cost-saving proposals
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and industry partners
• Track historical cost data to inform future estimates and improve accuracy
• Assist in preparing bid packages and presenting estimates to clients or executives

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate has 3-7 years of commercial estimating experience, strong take-off and cost analysis skills, and is comfortable working on both ground-up and renovation projects. Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and collaborative, with solid knowledge of construction pricing and subcontractor coordination.
