As a fully remote role, you'll be working from the comfort of your own home while engaging with clients through our telehealth platform. Your schedule will typically involve working hours from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, which will be coordinated to ensure work-life balance while addressing client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand the unique trauma history of each client and guiding the treatment process.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience enhancement, with clear goals and measurable outcomes.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to meet the specific needs of clients.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, build coping skills, and foster emotional healing.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, integrated care and treatment alignment.

• Delivering crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring client safety and stability.

• Educating clients and their families about trauma reactions, coping strategies, and available resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential case documentation that complies with ethical and legal standards.

• Participating in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice caters to a diverse patient population, with a strong emphasis on individuals experiencing trauma, stress, and anxiety. We are looking for Behavioral Health Generalists who are open to seeing couples, as we provide comprehensive training for this aspect as well. Your role will involve establishing meaningful connections with clients, providing them with the tools they need to heal and thrive.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a capacity to engage clients with empathy and understanding.

• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and provide thoughtful clinical responses to crises.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we highly value candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to improving patient care through innovative therapy techniques. Experience with trauma-focused therapies and a deep understanding of resilience-building approaches will set you apart. Candidates should also be prepared to manage their documentation efficiently, ideally completing notes within 24 hours to ensure timely and clear communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n
