Industry Banking Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President for Commercial Lending. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of activities, including developing new business, underwriting, structuring, and closing loans, as well as maintaining and servicing existing loan and deposit portfolios. This role involves working with team members and other departments to identify potential prospects and referrals, and actively participating in community and civic organizations to represent the company. The VP will also be expected to provide secure, accurate, and responsive customer service, and to be a trusted advisor, helping customers achieve their financial goals. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, or finance, or equivalent work experience, with 7-10 years' in credit administration. Commercial and industrial lending experience is required, and a background in commercial real estate is a plus. The role demands a candidate with a strong ability to read and understand regulations, policies, and procedures, and to communicate effectively. Experience in managing an assigned loan portfolio, as well as commercial loan and deposit experience, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in a community bank and experience with the nCino program for commercial lending.
