Production Manager (Bilingual Korean required)\n\nTimpl has partnered with one of the largest tier-1 automobile manufacturers to\nrecruit a bilingual Korean Production Manager. The details are as follows:\n\nMAJOR FUNCTION:\n\n * Supervise and coordinate manufacturing activities.\n * Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with support groups.\n * Monitor safety, quality, and productivity in the plant.\n * Perform additional functions as needed.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\n\n * Explain company policies to Supervisors.\n * Enforce safety regulations.\n * Recommend and assist in implementing improvements.\n * Strive to meet labor goals.\n * Address disciplinary issues with Supervisors and HR.\n * Resolve worker conflicts and ensure team members have necessary tools.\n * Coach, counsel, train, and motivate team members.\n * Participate in evaluations, committees, and task forces.\n * Initiate disciplinary actions with HR.\n * Communicate daily issues to the Plant Manager.\n * Support plant and departmental initiatives.\n * Mentor team members on team building, standardized work, and continuous\n improvement.\n\nADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\n * Supervise all production employees in emergencies.\n\nPREREQUISITES:\n\n * Knowledge of products, processes, people, and systems; automotive and TS16949\n experience preferred.\n * Engineering degree preferred or equivalent experience.\n * Strong communication skills.\n * Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.\n * Basic computer skills.
