Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and implement care plans based on critical assessment.
- Perform ongoing patient assessment and respond to changes in condition with appropriate interventions.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
- Document care accurately, communicate care plans to the multidisciplinary team, and support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse license in California
- ICU/critical care nursing experience preferred for this assignment
- Ability to work day shifts; 12-hour shifts with approximately 36 hours per week
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred; ADN acceptable)
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification typically preferred for ICU settings
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
