Telehealth Registered Dietitian (Pacific Time)

Job Overview Simplex Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to provide telehealth outpatient nutrition counseling in an integrative/functional nutrition setting. This is a PRN role requiring a minimum of 12 hours of weekly availability, with the opportunity to add hours. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania and have experience in clinical or outpatient nutrition counseling. Key Responsibilities Provide telehealth medical nutrition therapy using a functional and integrative approach. Implement Simplex Health protocols, tools, and educational materials in patient care. Assess patients’ nutritional health and develop personalized, root‑cause care plans. Create and modify individualized nutrition interventions based on patient needs and goals. Document all appointments in the Healthie platform with attention to detail. Respond to patient communications in a timely, professional, and supportive manner. Collaborate with team members through case discussions, meetings, and shared learning opportunities. Communicate openly and effectively to resolve work‑related issues and support team outcomes. Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment and ongoing clinical initiatives. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and clinical standards. Stay current with emerging research and best practices in nutrition and health. Manage a full and consistent patient caseload, ensuring timely follow‑ups and continuity of care. Maintain a minimum of 12 hours of weekly availability, with opportunity to grow into a higher‑hour or full‑time schedule. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical nutrition care. Hold current registration with CDR. Credentialed or willing to become credentialed with insurance companies. Minimum of 12 hours of weekly availability. Motivated to spend more time with patients and less time running a business. Should not maintain an active private practice or independent counseling business. Preferred Qualifications Availability for evening appointments to meet patient demand. Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES). IFNA Certified (IFNCP) or actively enrolled in IFNA training. Additional credentials or experience beyond the minimum requirements. Compensation & Benefits Hourly compensation: $54 to $59. Structured onboarding and training. Regular case reviews and clinical collaboration. Real‑time support via team chat and peer connection. Team meetings and shared learning opportunities. Insurance credentialing handled by the company, covering fees. Flexible scheduling to match personal preferences and patient demand. Supplement commissions: 12.5% of MSRP on supplements purchased through Fullscript. Performance‑based bonus opportunities tied to patient retention and face‑to‑face care time. Work Hours & Time Zone The position is based in East Coast (EST) time.
