Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Location: Boardman, Oregon

We’re hiring a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to support a busy production facility in Boardman, Oregon. You’ll help troubleshoot equipment, complete repairs, perform preventive maintenance, and keep production moving safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing and production equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery and facility systems
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Replace or repair motors, bearings, belts, pumps, valves, sensors, and other equipment components
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and help minimize production downtime
• Complete routine inspections and identify potential problems before they become bigger ones
• Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades
• Read basic equipment manuals, diagrams, schematics, and work orders
• Document completed repairs and maintenance activities
• Work closely with production operators and supervisors to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety, lockout/tagout, and company maintenance procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Previous industrial, manufacturing, plant, or production maintenance experience preferred
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with motors, pumps, bearings, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience is highly valuable
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and work-order systems is helpful
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment
• Comfortable working around industrial machinery and production equipment
• Able to work independently and respond calmly when equipment goes down
• Reliable attendance and strong follow-through
• Willingness to work varying shifts, weekends, overtime, or on-call schedules when needed
