Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Wichita Falls, TX | Intermediate Care / Step-Down Unit

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (19:00–07:00) | Expected 84 hours biweekly

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intermediate/step-down setting with a heavy cardiac and CVA population
• Manage and titrate cardiac drips including heparin, nitroglycerin, and related vasoactive medications
• Monitor and assess hemodynamically complex patients requiring close observation and intervention
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure patient safety

Required Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license — must be in-hand prior to start
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Strong cardiac nursing background with demonstrated ability to manage cardiac drips
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred
