Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Wichita Falls, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Alternating 3x12 and 4x12 schedule | Expected 36/48 hours per week (84 hours biweekly)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting with a willingness to float to support Med Surg as needed
• Adhere to an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule, with availability to work weekends as needed, which may include most weekends during the contract
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in alignment with facility protocols and standards
• Complete required orientation modules during the designated orientation period
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the facility's electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in-hand prior to start
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Must agree to an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule; set schedules cannot be approved
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system strongly preferred
• IMC, PCU, or Stepdown clinical background
