Office Assistant
Norton Shores, MI, 1st Shift, $18.00+/hour
Job Summary
Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys helping people and keeping operations running smoothly? We're seeking an Office Assistant to join our team in Norton Shores, MI. In this role, you'll provide administrative support, assist clients and team members, maintain accurate records, and help ensure daily office operations are efficient and professional.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Office Assistant, your core responsibilities will include:
- Administrative Support: Answer phones, direct calls, take messages, and provide assistance to clients and visitors.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Schedule and adjust appointments, manage calendars, and communicate with clients regarding upcoming meetings.
- Data Entry & Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate client records, update databases, process file maintenance requests, and organize documents.
In addition, you will assist with correspondence, client follow-up, office organization, and other administrative tasks that support daily business operations.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of office administration, scheduling, customer service, or related experience.
- Experience working with computer systems and electronic records.
Skills:
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate professionally with clients and team members both verbally and in writing.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately manage records, schedules, and administrative tasks.
- Computer Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive, and SharePoint, along with general office software.
