JOB SUMMARY:

This Operations Analyst II position performs as a team member support and is an excellent fit for critical thinkers. If you enjoy leading others and problem solving, this may be the position for you. Your duties would include:

• Assist with performance monitoring to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Serve as the team’s subject matter expert and completes tasks related to complex and escalated projects within the Legal Services Unit.
• Assist the supervisor in training and coaching legal assistants to ensure consistent performance and development across the unit.
• Assist the unit, as needed, in processing incoming referrals to support meeting pending workload goals and ensure timely case progression.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
• One year of experience in explaining complex policies and procedures with employees, partners, or public.
• Two years of experience coaching, mentoring, or training others.
• One year of experience using effective communication through a variety of methods.
• One year of experience conducting research and analyzing information to make decisions.*

SUBSTITUTIONS:

• Relevant education may substitute for the required experience.*

PREFERENCES:

• Legal Service Unit experience, to include the following: (a) providing legal assistance in an office or court environment, (b) reviewing and processing legal documents and/or correspondence, and (c) communicating with case parties, court officials, clerks of court, opposing attorneys, etc.

SPECIAL NOTES:

• Position located and housed in Pensacola, FL.
• Standard workdays are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

SALARY: $41,517.24 - $55,115.04
