Assistant Controller - SEC Reporting

Job Description
Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Lead the monthly global financial close, including general ledger accounting, consolidations, account reconciliations, and financial analysis \n
- Oversee key accounting functions including payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and general ledger activities \n
- Support the preparation and review of SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, proxy statements, quarterly disclosures, and supporting documentation \n
- Lead SOX internal controls over financial reporting, including control design, documentation, testing, compliance, and continuous improvement; serve as the primary contact for external auditors \n
- Partner with the Corporate Controller on budgeting and forecasting while ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies and reporting requirements \n
- Serve as the Finance ERP subject matter expert, leading implementations, upgrades, integrations, automation, reporting/dashboard development, and cross-functional process improvements \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline required \n
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the medical, healthcare, or a closely related industry \n
- Experience working for publicly traded companies and having SEC filing expertise is a must \n
- At least 2 years of SEC reporting experience, including preparation and review of Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, proxy statements, and other SEC filings \n
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements \n
- Proven cross-functional project management and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate financial and reporting initiatives across multiple functions \n
Salary: $160k - $165k/annum
