Key Responsibilities

• Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate, design, and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients referred from various physicians.
• You will carry out assessments and create personalized exercise programs, catering to the specific needs of each patient, covering a range of specialties including orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports medicine.
• Providing excellent customer service, you will work closely with patients to guide them through their recovery journeys, ensuring they understand the treatment process and feel supported.
• Collaboration is key; you will engage with a multidisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
• This role includes educating patients and their families, offering insights and advice that empower them in their rehabilitation process.
• Meeting minimum utilization goals and actively contributing to the clinic's business objectives will also be integral to your role.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Valleywise, you will be working with a diverse clientele, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to children overcoming developmental challenges and adults facing orthopedic surgeries. This varied patient demographic allows you to apply a wide array of therapeutic techniques and expand your clinical knowledge in multiple areas of physical therapy.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• You must hold a valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, as per the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is necessary for this role.
• Current CPR certification is a must to ensure patient safety.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Competency in word processing and general computer skills is expected to maintain accurate patient records.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience is the baseline requirement, candidates with additional experience in specialized areas such as pediatric therapy, sports rehabilitation, or adult neuro-rehabilitation will be viewed favorably. Compensation and Benefits
