Human Resources Coordinator

FULL-TIME HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR Outback Custom Cabinets – Salt Lake City, Utah Outback Custom Cabinets, a growing family‑owned custom cabinetry company, is seeking a motivated, organized, and professional Human Resources Coordinator to join our team on a full‑time basis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, exceptional organizational abilities, a commitment to maintaining confidentiality, and a willingness to support various operational needs to ensure the efficient functioning of the office. POSITION SUMMARY The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the company’s daily human resources functions while also supporting office operations, employee scheduling, and additional administrative duties as required. This role is integral to supporting both employees and the management team. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage employee onboarding processes and new‑hire documentation Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personnel files and HR records Assist with recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes Coordinate employee orientation and training programs Administer employee benefits and respond to HR‑related inquiries Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment regulations and policies Support payroll administration and employee timekeeping as needed Coordinate employee performance evaluations and related documentation Assist in maintaining company policies and the employee handbook Support employee scheduling and workforce coordination Provide administrative support, including answering phones, as needed Collaborate with management on special projects Perform additional office, scheduling, and administrative duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience in human resources is preferred Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Familiarity with the Utah Department of Workforce Services Strong organizational and communication skills Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems Self‑motivated with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills Qualified candidates who are dependable, organized, and committed to fostering a positive workplace while supporting daily business operations are encouraged to apply.
