Senior Accountant

Job Details We are currently seeking a dynamic, motivated, and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Mortgage Industry team. This is a permanent, full‑time position with a hybrid work model, offering flexibility of combining remote work with on‑site office collaboration. Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 per year. Responsibilities Critically reviewing and preparing complex individual, fiduciary, partnership, not‑for‑profit, and corporate tax returns. Conducting engagement planning, process and controls testing, analytical reviews, and accounting research. Effectively researching and explaining technical issues to staff, motivating them to build technical skills. Embracing and encouraging ongoing change and improvement, empowering staff at all levels to provide feedback and make changes. Demonstrating leadership, problem‑solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, specifically in the mortgage industry. At least 2 years of tax or audit experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax codes. Ability to work toward or have met the 150‑semester unit requirement for CPA licensure; CPA license is a plus. Exceptional problem‑solving, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with high urgency in completing tasks. Capacity to embrace and encourage ongoing change, empowering staff to provide feedback.
