IT Project Manager

Position Type:

• Contract to Hire
• Hybrid - Local to PA - 3 days in office, 2 days WFH

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Arts
• 3 years of experience in managing and leading IT projects
• Experience with SDLC, PMLC, Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies
• Strong experience as a Project Manager of medium to large complex projects
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and collaboration tools like SharePoint or Project Management systems
• Strong collaboration, influencing, and listening skills
• Experience working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Customer-focused with excellent customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE)
• Local to PA preferred; remote candidates considered

Preferred:

• Project Management Certification (PMP)
• Agile practice certification (CSM or comparable)
• Demonstrated employment stability and successful project completion record

Responsibilities:

• Manage project deliverables and milestones
• Oversee tasks, activities, and resources throughout the project lifecycle
• Proactively manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans
• Estimate project effort and costs, define timelines, and manage dependencies
• Provide status reporting to senior leadership
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones
• Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts
• Conduct project retrospectives and recommend improvements
• Manage vendor relations and procurements
• Communicate relevant project information to stakeholders and teams
• Coach, mentor, and supervise project team members
• Monitor contract performance and report on KPIs
• Review business cases and determine procurement routes
