Description

• Assess patients in inpatient or outpatient settings and craft tailored treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy interventions targeting mobility, strength, balance, and functionality
• Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to optimize results
• Inform patients and families about therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and home exercises
• Document assessments, treatments, and progress in line with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to guarantee coordinated care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialized credentials (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience is strongly preferred
• Competence in treating patients with complex health and mobility challenges
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
• Comfort with digital charting and clinical documentation systems
