FORKLIFT OPERATOR $18/hr to $20/hr HIRING ASAP!!!!!

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up and high-reach Crown forklifts safely and efficiently to support inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
• Load and unload trucks, including handling full pallets and dedicated case picking activities.
• Perform picking and order selecting using RF scanners and basic computer systems to manage inventory and shipping documentation.
• Move, stage, and put away product in designated warehouse locations, ensuring accurate placement and stock rotation.
• Handle FDA-regulated chocolate products, including cocoa beans, liquor, powders, and cocoa butter, with strict attention to quality and compliance.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain product integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and correct errors in picking, labeling, and inventory transactions, prioritizing quality over quantity.
• Support shipping and receiving functions, including verifying inbound and outbound shipments and documenting discrepancies.
• Use basic math skills to verify counts, reconcile inventory, and ensure accurate pallet and case quantities.
• Operate electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed to move product safely throughout the facility.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience operating a stand-up forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Ability to safely load and unload trucks, including handling full pallets and case picking.
• Strong attention to detail, especially when working with FDA-regulated products and quality-sensitive materials.
• Ability to identify mistakes and take corrective action to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Capability to follow and adhere to GMPs and SOPs in a production or distribution setting.
• Good computer skills, including the ability to use RF scanners for picking, inventory, and shipping tasks.
• Basic math skills for counting, verifying quantities, and reconciling inventory.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

PAY AND SHIFT:

A shift FLO - Sun - Tues, alternate Wed, 7am - 7pm $18/hr

B Shift FLO - Sun - Tues, alternate Weds, 7pm - 7am - $19/hr

C Shift FLO - Thurs - Sat, alternate Weds, 7am-7pm - $18/hr

D shift FLO - Thurs - Sat, alternate Wed 7pm - 7am $20/hr

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
