Emergency Planning & Readiness - Assistant Deputy Director

Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA)

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is seeking an Assistant Deputy Director – Emergency Management (Planner) who will report directly to the Director of Emergency Management. This position involves developing comprehensive emergency management planning functions for Metro-North Railroad, ensuring operational readiness for emergencies. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Management or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in emergency planning. Knowledge of the National Incident Management System is essential, along with strong interpersonal skills.
