Senior Product Development Manager, Intimates & Bras Suite Creative Studio | Onsite 3-4 days/week | Full-Time About Suite Creative Studio Suite Creative Studio (SCS) is a fashion product development and sourcing studio that helps apparel brands move from creative vision to physical product. We partner with emerging and growing brands across intimates, activewear, shapewear, swimwear, and maternity, handling everything from technical design and raw material sourcing to factory compliance and patternmaking. Our clients rely on us as an extension of their team, and we're intentional about supporting founders, including those building brands in underrepresented spaces. The Role We're looking for a Senior Product Development Manager with deep bra and intimates construction expertise to own product development across a portfolio of SCS clients. Unlike an in-house PD role at a single brand, this position requires fluency in multiple brand identities, cost structures, and calendars at once. You'll be the technical backbone between design intent and factory execution, catching issues before they become client-facing problems. This role sits as a peer to our current PD Manager, each owning a distinct set of client accounts, reporting directly to the Studio Founder. What You'll Do Independently manage end-to-end product development for multiple intimates and bra clients simultaneously, from concept through production handoff Apply expert-level construction knowledge across underwire and wire-free bras, cup molding, elastic banding, power mesh, foam and laminate bonding, and seamless/flatlock construction Source and vet fabric and trims against each client's aesthetic, performance, and cost targets, including lab dip, strike-off, and trim approvals Build and maintain tech packs, BOMs, and grading specs to a standard that survives factory translation without rework Own costing conversations and negotiate target costs with factories on behalf of clients Manage domestic and overseas factory relationships, including onboarding new partners against SCS's compliance and quality standards Lead sample review and fit sessions, providing clear, actionable comments back to factories and proactively flagging quality risks to clients before they surface issues themselves Maintain WIP trackers and development calendars across concurrent client accounts, flagging timeline risk early Partner with the Studio Founder on client communication for escalations, ensuring issues are surfaced proactively rather than reactively Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members as the team grows What You Bring 7-10+ years of apparel product development experience, with a significant concentration in bras, intimates, or shapewear Expert-level fluency in bra and intimates construction: underwire vs. wire-free architecture, cup engineering, elastic and banding systems, power mesh and warp knits, molding, and flatlock/wooly nylon seaming Proven experience managing multiple product lines, categories, or client accounts concurrently Strong factory relationship management skills, with experience across both domestic (LA cluster preferred) and overseas manufacturing Hands-on experience sourcing fabric and trims, with an established sense of mills, suppliers, and material capabilities relevant to intimates and bra construction Confident negotiator on costing, with a clear understanding of margin, landed cost, and duty implications High proficiency in Excel, tech pack software, and general PLM concepts Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and ownership, this is not a role with heavy oversight Experience in an agency, studio, or multi-brand development environment is a strong plus Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or related field preferred, but not required with equivalent experience Who Thrives Here At Suite Creative Studio, we believe expertise is something you build, and we're looking for people who genuinely enjoy that process. We're meticulous, because catching a flaw before a sample or deliverable leaves your hands is always the goal. Compensation $100,000-$125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
