Client is a builder developer in the Atlanta market that operates as a general contractor servicing client in retail and bigbox space.

Job Description

• Supervise daily construction site operations, ensuring safety and compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to maintain schedules and budgets.
• Inspect work progress and resolve any on-site issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records, including daily logs and project documentation.
• Ensure adherence to all safety standards and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide project updates.
• Travel to various project sites as required to manage construction activities.
• Oversee the quality control process to ensure all work meets company and client standards.
• Travel as required to assigned project locations throughout the United States.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Traveling Superintendent - Retail should have:

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction as a superintendent
• Experience with retail construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage on-site teams effectively.
• Ability to travel frequently to various project locations.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and project plans.
• Problem-solving skills to address and resolve on-site challenges.
• Ability to travel extensively and relocate temporarily based on project assignments.
