Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing daily production operations within the Ammunition Manufacturing department. This role ensures that processes are executed efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with customer specifications, military standards, and company policies.

Production Supervisor Essential Job Functions:

• Supervise daily production activities in the Ammunition Manufacturing department; Plan, schedule, and coordinate workforce and materials to meet production targets.
• Ensure all packaging, labeling, preservation, and documentation meets specifications and customer requirements.
• Monitor production outputs, efficiency, and quality performance metrics; Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production and compliance issues.
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Investigate production delays, equipment issues, and non-conformances; Implement corrective actions as required; Coach, train, and support production employees to ensure high performance and adherence to production standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports, including timekeeping; Support audits, inspections, and customer reviews as required.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce scrap.

Production Supervisor Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associates or Bachelor's degree* in business, engineering or similar field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience; manufacturing operations strongly preferred.
• Experience working with manufacturing standards and specifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and process controls.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and production specifications.
• SAP and KRONOS experience preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work any shift, including overtime, to support 24/5 operations.

Location-Specific Requirements:

• This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
• This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
