Stockroom Supervisor

Scope of Position As a key member of the Operations team, this results-driven individual will lead stockroom operations to ensure accurate inventory management, efficient material flow, and timely support of production requirements. The role will supervise Stockroom/Receiving personnel and report to the Warehouse Manager. The position is onsite and based in Fort Worth, Texas. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and direct stockroom personnel to ensure efficient receipt, storage, issuance, and distribution of materials and supplies. Establish, document, and maintain processes to ensure inventory transaction accuracy and accountability. Train team members on inventory procedures, systems, and bin accuracy standards. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. Manage inventory through cycle counting, reconciliation, and collaboration with procurement to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages. Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules. Ensure job part kits are accurately picked, staged, and delivered in alignment with production timelines. Utilize ERP systems to manage inventory, scheduling, and material tracking. Monitor and address past‑due backlog items to align inventory with demand requirements. Partner with the Materials Manager to manage excess and obsolete inventory disposition. Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives, including implementation of paperless processes and visual management systems. Ensure high-quality, timely delivery of materials to support customer expectations and production goals. Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or company management. Qualifications Required Qualifications Associate’s degree required (or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree). 7+ years of related experience/training in inventory management, stockroom operations, supply chain, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Responsible for full employee lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, and training staff. Experience with ERP systems and inventory control systems. Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement skills. Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures. Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, and required pre‑employment testing as a condition of employment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field. Travel Requirements 10% travel. Physical Requirements Remain seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods. Perform repetitive tasks such as typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods. Physically move around the office, organize or transport files, packages, or other office‑related materials. Read documents, use a computer, and perform data entry tasks. Communicate clearly with management and coworkers, particularly in meetings or phone calls. Operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers. Occasionally lift and carry light objects, such as office supplies, documents, or small equipment. Stand for long periods of time. Lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Push and pull up to 75 pounds. Move around manufacturing floor. Wear personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses, as required. Working Conditions & Employment The job is performed onsite in a manufacturing facility at the Fort Worth, Texas location. Work hours will be communicated by the manager, and overtime and weekend shifts may be required based on company needs.
