The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving clerks, fostering a productive work environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure data integrity.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics departments to optimize material flow.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies for material handling.
- Operate and maintain various material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Implement and continuously improve shipping and receiving processes to enhance efficiency.
Recommended Qualifications
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with an ERP system for inventory management and transaction processing.
- Forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment.
- Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for data entry, reporting, and communication.
