Athletic Director

Athletic Director Summary: Work with high school and middle school principals to streamline corrective actions and maintain, organize, and administer the overall program of interscholastic athletics. Education and Experience Successful head coaching experience preferred. Five years of successful experience as a teacher and/or coach. Valid teaching certificate preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Administer the middle school and high school athletic program, including supervision, hiring, and evaluation of coaches, and scheduling, organization, and supervision of athletic events. Act as the district’s contact for MHSAA, Southwestern Athletic Conference, and various non‑school youth sports organizations and the Falcon Athletic Boosters. Develop and continue to evaluate appropriate rules and regulations governing the conduct of athletic activities. Foster good school‑parent relations by maintaining communications relative to rules and regulations on athletics. Establish and enforce the physical, academic, and athletic code requirements of eligibility for participation. Represent the school on local committees when necessary, Constantine Athletic Hall of Fame and Constantine Fitness Center. Assure the health, safety, and welfare of students. Operate technology and a variety of office equipment efficiently and effectively. Assist with monitoring the school budget; order supplies as needed; manage staff and student body accounts as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
