Current clinical competency is verifiable by clinical activity logs submitted by the previous medical institutionsLicensure/Registration: Must possess and maintain an active, current, valid and unrestricted RN license as well being licensed to the Advanced Practice level IAW the US jurisdiction requirements of their currently held RN license to practice independently within the defined scope of practice for their specialty.Nurse Practitioner – Family Practice Core Duties:Provide comprehensive Nurse Practitioner services within the scope of practice and privileges granted by the MTF.Perform patient evaluations, screenings, physical examinations, and medical care for routine, acute, and chronic conditions.Diagnose, treat, and manage illnesses, injuries, and health concerns using clinical guidelines and approved protocols.Provide preventive care, health maintenance, immunizations, and patient wellness education.Develop treatment plans and counsel patients on healthy behaviors and self-care strategies.Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate effective patient care and communicate treatment plans.Provide clinical guidance, training, and evidence-based education to staff members.Participate in staff meetings, case discussions, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.Apply infection control practices, recognize isolation requirements, and maintain universal precautions during patient care.Educate patients, families, and staff to support improved health outcomes and organizational goals.About the Assignment This position involves providing comprehensive family health services at a leading facility in Colorado Springs, supporting military personnel and their families.
