Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – PRN $24–$34/hour, Simpsonville, SC Position Summary We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered therapy services under the direction of a Physical Therapist. This role plays a key part in helping residents improve mobility, strength, and overall independence. Key Responsibilities Provide therapy treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist. Follow physician treatment plans and care goals. Document daily treatments and weekly progress notes accurately. Assist with rehabilitation and care planning meetings. Communicate patient progress with the interdisciplinary team. Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education. Maintain clean, safe therapy areas and equipment. Support training of restorative aides and nursing staff. Ensure compliance with state practice act and facility policies. Qualifications Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in South Carolina (in good standing). Graduate of an accredited PTA program. Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred. Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred. Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills. We are an equal opportunity employer.
