Guests can delight in an array of amenities, including a sparkling pool and lounge deck with ocean views, complimentary daily Champagne Continental Breakfast, house-made cookies delivered to your room each night, Antipodes water and Baci chocolates left bedside after check-in, and so much more.Tasks At Hand:Conduct room inspections and identify repair needsInstall or repair sheet rock and other wall coveringsPaint designated areas and itemsInstall and replace basic electrical fixtures, replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixturesRepair furnitureInstall, replace and program televisionsPerform minor plumbing functionsReplace and repair heating and cooling pumps as well as preventative maintenance on unitsTrace and repair all types of water linesTroubleshoot and repair kitchen equipmentMaintain repair and preventive maintenance recordsPerform and maintain work to local, state and Federal codesWork as a Houseperson in the event of staffing shortages or during peak check in/out periodsFollow service recovery guidelinesPractice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and comply with MSDS and OSHA standardsEnsure overall guest satisfactionMust be completely flexible with scheduling and be open to varied schedules every week based on hotel occupanciesFollow uniform guidelinePerform any other reasonable duties as required by managementWhat We Are Looking For:Must have some knowledge of AC systems & refrigerationMust be able to work in varied temperatures, indoor & outdoor environments under stressful weather conditionsCan work being in surroundings within proximity to moving mechanical parts, electric currents, exposure to high heat and/or chemicals, and working on scaffolding and/or high placesMust be able to work with skilled machinist equipment; such as lathes, drill presses, power saws and millsMust be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch in tight restricted spacesMust have good verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to work as a team to drive resultsMust be an organized individual and prioritize wellMust be able to work in a fast-paced environmentMust have a good work ethicMust display a positive attitudeWhat's In It For You:A competitive compensation package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.401(k) retirement plan (future you will love this one!)Paid time off, holiday pay, and sick pay when you're under the weather.Career advancement in an organization committed to helping star employees thrive.
