Active Life Orthopedic Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work in our outpatient office, which features state-of-the-art equipment and a welcoming atmosphere designed to promote healing and rehabilitation. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life environment. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure comprehensive care is delivered to each patient.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations and assessments of patients to identify their needs and goals.
• Develop, implement, and modify comprehensive treatment plans using diverse therapeutic techniques.
• Administer effective rehabilitation therapies aimed at improving patients' range of motion, strength, and function.
• Maintain an optimal patient load, ensuring focused and personalized care by treating one patient per hour.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions tailored to individual patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment strategies as needed.
• Document all provided services accurately to comply with healthcare regulations and maintain patient records.
• Encourage adherence to treatment plans by motivating and educating patients about their conditions.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with diverse age groups, from athletes seeking to regain peak performance to seniors aiming to enhance mobility and independence. You will apply your expertise to craft unique rehabilitation programs that address the specific needs of each patient, ensuring a high level of individualized care that leads to successful recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's or Doctorate degree (MPT or DPT) is preferred.
• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• No prior record of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and an understanding of evidence-based practices.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic and outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement progressive exercise programs tailored to distinct patient populations.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with a broad spectrum of patients and healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 95,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
