Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with a wide array of orthopedic conditions, which may include post-surgery recovery or chronic musculoskeletal issues.
• Document patient progress meticulously, providing details on treatment plans, modifications, and discharge summaries that reflect clinical expertise and ongoing assessments.
• Recommend and evaluate appropriate medical and assistive equipment tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring optimal recovery conditions.
• Facilitate patient education sessions and support groups, guiding both individuals and larger groups on pre- and post-operative care strategies and exercises.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to devise and implement evidence-based treatment plans aimed at enhancing each patient's functional abilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Mobility Health, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and those dealing with chronic pain or musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; however, advanced degrees such as a Master's or Doctorate are strongly preferred.
• An active state physical therapy license is mandatory for practice in Florida.
