Shipping Clerk Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM $17.50 per hour Summary We are seeking a Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping operations and ensure accurate, timely delivery of customer orders. This position is responsible for verifying outgoing shipments, preparing products for shipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting customer satisfaction through quality-focused shipping practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should be capable of handling shipping documentation, using basic computer systems, and safely lifting materials while maintaining a clean and efficient work area. Job Responsibilities Verify outgoing shipments by comparing item counts, weights, and measurements against invoices, orders, and shipping records Determine appropriate shipping methods based on shipment requirements Apply shipping labels and identifying information to cartons and containers Assemble shipping containers or select preassembled packaging as needed Pack products securely into containers for shipment Stamp, stencil, or attach shipping instructions and identifying information to crates and packages Post weights, shipping charges, and affix postage when required Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure all specifications and quality standards are met Follow all company procedures, policies, and work instructions Handle materials and products carefully to prevent damage and ensure personal safety Utilize computer systems to access order information, inventory locations, lot numbers, and shipment status Maintain clean, organized, and obstruction-free work areas Perform all duties with a strong commitment to inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction Job Requirements High school diploma or GED required Previous shipping experience preferred Warehouse, stockroom, or receiving experience in a manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr ResourceMFG
