Our team is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care to our Northern Arizona community, and we are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our Urology and General Surgery Departments!

As a Medical Assistant at FSA, you will play an important role in creating a positive patient experience by supporting providers, caring for patients, and helping our clinic run smoothly. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, loves working with patients, and takes pride in being a dependable member of a collaborative healthcare team.

What You’ll Do:

• Welcome and care for patients by rooming, obtaining vital signs, updating medical histories, and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and patient care needs.
• Perform clinical duties including catheter care, medication injections, scans, specimen collection, and other responsibilities within scope of practice.
• Provide education and support to patients regarding treatments, medications, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Help coordinate patient care by managing messages, scheduling needs, records, referrals, imaging, labs, and follow-ups.
• Maintain organized, safe, and efficient clinical spaces while supporting infection control and compliance standards.
• Work closely with providers and teammates to provide exceptional care and improve the patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Current AHA BLS Certification required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and infection control practices.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive healthcare team.

Position Details

Position: Full-Time Medical Assistant
Department: Urology/General Surgery
Location: Onsite in Flagstaff, AZ
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $21–$23per hour (based on experience)
