Housing Outreach Specialist, Grant Funded Position Employment Type: Full Time Position Purpose The Housing Outreach Specialist will engage with people experiencing unsheltered homelessness in Franklin County and connect them with stabilizing resources for housing, healthcare, addiction recovery, and other supports. Working as a team to identify needs in the city, the specialist responds to each individual's situation, removing barriers to housing and collaborating with diverse community partners. Responsibilities Engage with individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness to assess their needs. Connect clients with housing, healthcare, addiction recovery, and other supportive services. Collaborate with community partners to remove barriers to housing. Work as part of a team to identify and respond to the diverse needs of clients. Qualifications High School Education or GED required. Effective communication skills. Active and valid driver's license. Field experience working hands‑on with the homeless population preferred.
