Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role focuses on impacting young learners’ lives by supporting their fine and gross motor skill development and helping them succeed in school environments. Located near Detroit, MI, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to deliver a blend of onsite and teletherapy OT services, aligned to each student’s individual needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Michigan
• Proven experience in school-based Occupational Therapy
• Strong background in assessing and improving fine and gross motor skills
• Familiarity with delivering OT services via teletherapy platforms
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Passion for supporting students from diverse backgrounds, ages PreK-12

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop targeted treatment plans
• Provide direct occupational therapy interventions both in-person and through teletherapy
• Monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records and reports
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to integrate OT strategies in the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing program development
• Adjust therapy approaches to meet the varied needs across age and grade levels
• Promote functional independence, self-care, and participation in school activities
