Work Schedule -1st Shift - Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm


Job Location - Plover, WI

The Operations Assistant position deals with the day-to-day operations of the facility and performs a wide variety of warehousing, building and grounds maintenance and custodial work involving the care, cleaning, and repair of facilities and grounds.


Duties:

• Variety of warehouse, custodial, grounds maintenance and routine building maintenance
• Safely operate a sitdown counterbalanced forklift, pallet jack, aerial lift, front end loader, skidsteer, industrial sweeper and industrial scrubber
• Handles sanitation chemicals, industrial and household cleaning chemicals, mixing chemicals in accord to directions for safe food-contact use
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and vacuums floors/carpets in offices, hallways and other work areas
• Cleans/disinfects restrooms, breakrooms, offices, lockers, hallways and other facilities assigned
• Operates hand and power tools to perform warehouse and routine facility maintenance
• Identifies and reports repairs needed or problems identified
• Monitors and assists in maintaining inventory levels of facility supplies and reports needs to appropriate personnel
• Assists Warehouse supervisor with inventory, loading/unloading, paperwork, cycle counts and production run needs
• Maintains records and Food-safe environment
• Trains new and existing team members on expectations and requirements for working in and around warehouse, custodial areas, facility grounds and buildings
• Assists with teaching, mentoring and monitoring all team members in regard to company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Production experience
• Forklift experience
• Industrial cleaning experience
• Reliable worker with positive attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Work in variable weather conditions
• Regularly lift 50lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Past proven strong attendance and consistent job history is a MUST
