LVN / LPN - Ambulatory Care/Clinic/Outpatient

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide outpatient nursing care within a clinic setting, supporting patient treatment, education, and clinical procedures. Ensure compliance with certification requirements and deliver high-quality patient services under the supervision of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Administer vaccinations, including flu vaccines, in accordance with clinic protocols.
• Perform IV therapy and blood draws, adhering to safety and procedural standards.
• Document patient interactions and clinical activities accurately in the Epic electronic health record system.
• Assist providers with clinical tasks such as wound care, medication administration, and patient assessments.
• Maintain certification credentials and ensure all regulatory compliance requirements are met.
• Respond flexibly to floating assignments within designated outpatient clinic locations.

Qualifications:

• Valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license with active status at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years outpatient clinic experience in a healthcare setting.
• Certified in BLS (AHA or ARC) and IV & Blood procedures.
• Must have recent experience administering flu vaccines with no declinations or exemptions.
• Must possess one year of recent clinical reference from supervisor or higher.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float between clinic sites as needed.
