We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Consulting Desktop Support Technician to join our Tech Services team. This exciting role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting, and ensuring the efficient operation of desktop computers, peripherals, and software within established standards and guidelines. Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues.
• Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.
• Track, route, and redirect problems to correct resources.
• Walk customers through problem-solving processes.
• Follow up with customers, provide feedback, and see problems through to resolution.
• Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers' expectations.
• Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure.
• Recommend procedure modifications or improvements.
• Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products, and services.
• Assist in the organization and inventory of all hardware and software resources.
• Maintain excellent communication with all end users and other IT staff.
• Work with other technicians to learn new software and hardware applications.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months to 2 years of experience in IT required.
• Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role.
• Experience with Cerner, Footprints, and Kronos required.
• Experience in Desktop Support preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Customer-oriented attitude.
• Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
• Degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional would be an asset.
• Must have a strong understanding of computer support and troubleshooting.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Must be able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Must have a strong dedication to customer service.
• Must have 5+ years of experience.
