Lab Accessioner Part-Time

Part-Time Lab Accessioner Part Time position (Monday through Friday 10:30am - 2:30pm) superior attendance record required! Title: Part-Time Lab Accessioner - Location: Dallas, TX (Addison area) We are seeking two PART-TIME Accessioner's to work with our onsite lab team. The Accessioner will be responsible for performing clinic sample opening, clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures. The schedule for this position is: Monday through Friday 10:30am - 2:30pm with some additional hours / weekend / holiday work required, based upon business demands. Please note: we are looking for extremely reliable employees who come to work every day. How You Will Make An Impact Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Accurately identify and label specimens Rack specimens to prepare them for processing Meet department activity and production goals Resolve and document any problem specimens What You Need To Be Successful Requires: High School Diploma or equivalent No lab experience required; 1+ year of data entry experience, preferred Previous medical or production experience is a plus Comfortable handling biological specimens Experience working in a team environment Strong data entry and organizational skills High level of attention to detail Ability to lift 40lbs. Ability to pass a standardized color-blind test Ability to stand for long periods of time, up to 6 hours or more Open to working evening hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
