Junior Accountant

LMW HR Group , a growing Group of Companies providing HR and consulting services to both Greek and international clients , is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day accounting and administrative operations of the Group, working closely with the Finance team across a range of bookkeeping, invoicing and financial administration activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior accounting professional or recent graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience, develop their accounting knowledge and grow within a dynamic and professional business environment. Key Responsibilities: Support day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities . Record and process supplier and customer invoices . Monitor invoices, receipts and other supporting documentation. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Support bank and account reconciliations and routine accounting checks. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation. Perform accounting‑related data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial information. Liaise with suppliers, clients and internal departments regarding invoices and supporting documentation. Assist with the preparation of basic financial reports and accounting information. Support the Finance team during audits and the preparation of relevant documentation. Maintain organized physical and electronic accounting files. Provide general administrative support to the Accounting and Finance function. Assist with ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required. EducationalbackgroundinAccounting,Finance,BusinessAdministrationorarelatedfieldwouldbeconsideredanadvantage 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience would be considered an asset. More specifically, previousexperienceinanaccountingfirmwouldbehighlyvalued Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping processes . Good knowledge of Microsoft Office , particularly Excel. Familiarity with accounting/ERP software would be considered an advantage. Good command of Greek and English , both written and spoken. Strong numerical aptitude, exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Quick thinking, strong analytical skills and the ability to understand new concepts, identify issues and solve problems effectively. Excellent organizational skills and effective time management, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively as part of a team.
