Lab Technician 1

Shift Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Compensation $18.00 per hour; salary determined by location, experience, education, skills, and internal equity, with final offer influenced by market conditions and budgetary considerations. Job Overview We need a Lab Technician to work in the sample preparation department of our environmental testing laboratory. You will receive training to grow a laboratory sciences career and contribute to meaningful scientific work that protects the environment. Responsibilities Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance. Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases. Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples. Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
