The Property Accountant will be responsible for managing accurate and timely accounting and financial reporting functions across a portfolio of residential properties.

Ensure accurate accounting for all property transactions and records. Maintain recurring accounting schedules and reporting calendars. Prepare monthly financials including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Reconcile all bank accounts and ledger entries with supporting documentation. Assist with year-end audits, reports, and tax preparations. Maintain and update general ledger through journal entries and reconciliations.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in real estate or property management. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Highly organized with a strong attention to detail. Proficient in Excel and property management/accounting software.
