Pizza Cook - Cece's Kitchen Cece's Roland Park is seeking a talented Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced chefs in a polished Italian restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for authentic Italian cuisine, extensive knowledge of dough production and fermentation, and experience working with high-temperature pizza ovens. From mixing and maintaining house-made dough to producing well-crafted pizzas during service, you'll play an essential role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. Essential Responsibilities Prepare, mix, ferment, portion, and maintain pizza dough according to established recipes and specifications. Monitor dough hydration, fermentation schedules, proofing, and quality control procedures. Stretch, top, and bake pizzas while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation standards. Prepare sauces, proteins, vegetables, and additional ingredients required for daily service. Ensure proper product rotation, storage, and inventory management practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in accordance with company and health department standards. Qualifications Two or more years of experience working in a professional kitchen environment. Demonstrated experience preparing dough from scratch. Experience working with a Forno oven or comparable high-temperature pizza oven. Thorough understanding of dough fermentation, hydration, proofing, and baking techniques. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Experience in upscale, polished, or fine-dining restaurant environments. Passion for Italian cuisine and traditional cooking methods. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
