MAILROOM COORDINATOR

PS Business Management is seeking an experienced, dependable Mailroom Coordinator to join our New York office. This is a hands-on, service-oriented position for someone who takes pride in keeping a busy professional office running smoothly and is looking for a stable, long-term role in mailroom and office operations. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a corporate mailroom, office services, shipping/receiving, facilities support, or a similar environment. They are organized, punctual, discreet, and comfortable managing a steady flow of incoming and outgoing materials with accuracy and consistency. Responsibilities: Receive, sort, scan, log, and distribute incoming mail and packages. Process outgoing mail, certified mail, overnight deliveries, and courier services. Coordinate daily pickups and deliveries with USPS, FedEx, UPS, and local courier services. Ensure prompt delivery of time-sensitive correspondence throughout the office. Maintain and track accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Operate postage meters, scanners and shipping platforms. Maintain inventory of mailroom, ensuring it's organized and machines are in working order. Follow firm procedures regarding client, employee, financial, and legal documents. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of position. Maintains the ability to use grammatical, spelling and punctuation skills effectively. Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills as well as a cooperative and dependable personality. 3 years of mailroom, shipping/receiving, or logistics required. Experience in a professional services, legal, accounting, or financial services firm is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook is required Must be able to type a minimum of 25 WPM Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time Must be able to lift and transport packages up to 40 lbs Office hours are 9:30-6:00 ET Monday - Friday. Compensation: $20- $24/ hour for PT, commensurate with experience We are open to considering both full-time and part-time candidates.
