Make an impact supporting students across scenic El Dorado County as a Speech-Language Pathologist during the 2026-2027 school year. This is a contract position working exclusively onsite in a variety of school settings. The district spans El Dorado Hills to Camino, offering both rural and suburban experiences as part of an engaged and welcoming educational community.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments—assignments may shift throughout the semester, so flexibility and a willingness to travel between sites are essential. Full support is provided for Clinical Fellows and SLPAs, with required onsite supervision from experienced SLPs.
Key Experience & Qualifications:
- Active California SLP license (CCC-SLP required for independent SLP work; open to CFs and those needing supervision)
- Recent experience in school settings preferred
- Familiarity with SEIS (Special Education Information System) highly valued
- Ability to be itinerant, traveling among multiple locations as needed
- Comfortable managing mild to moderate caseloads; occasional more complex/severe student needs may arise
- Strong communication skills and adaptability
- Commitment to in-person work (no remote/Voco options per district policy)
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy, assessments, and IEP participation for students with communication needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams across various campuses
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with CA school-based SLP requirements
- Support and, if qualified, supervise CFs and/or SLPAs onsite
