Position Summary RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support our talent acquisition and onboarding processes. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with background checks, drug screening, DOT physicals, Clearinghouse reporting, and I-9 verification while also assisting with sourcing and entry‑level recruiting. Key Responsibilities Compliance & Pre-Employment Processes Manage and process background checks, drug screens, and DOT physicals to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Oversee Clearinghouse reporting and monitoring for CDL drivers. Conduct I‑9 verification and E‑Verify to ensure employment eligibility compliance. Track and maintain accurate records of pre‑employment screenings and ensure timely completion. Recruiting & Sourcing Support Assist with entry‑level recruiting, including screening candidates and coordinating interviews. Proactively source and engage candidates through job boards, social media, and community outreach. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for high‑volume and specialized roles. Support hiring managers with scheduling interviews and managing candidate communications. Onboarding & Administrative Support Facilitate a smooth onboarding process by ensuring new hires complete all necessary documentation and training requirements. Maintain accurate employee records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and HRIS. Partner with HR and hiring managers to improve the candidate experience. Assist with new hire orientation and compliance training as needed. Qualifications 1–3 years of recruiting, HR, or talent acquisition experience (preferably in a high‑volume or transportation‑related industry). Strong knowledge of background screening, drug testing, DOT physicals, and Clearinghouse reporting. Experience with I‑9 verification and E‑Verify compliance. Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Preferred Qualifications Experience in transportation, construction, or safety‑related industries is a plus. Familiarity with state and federal employment regulations. Experience in high‑volume recruiting and sourcing. Additional Information This role requires occasional travel for hiring events, job fairs, or onboarding sessions.
