About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ER Holding Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in ER and ER Holding (MS/Tele preferred) License: Valid state or compact nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: ER experience as noted in work history. Experience in ER observation/holding or medical/surgical tele. Description: This position involves working in the Emergency Department Observation Unit. The role is focused on providing care to patients across various age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily census for the unit is 32, with a capacity of 32 beds. Candidates must have strong skills in various critical care procedures and patient management. Prior experience in managing arterial lines, ventilated patients, and cardiac telemetry is highly preferred. Travel candidates must be aware of the urgency of the credentialing and fingerprinting process. All candidates are expected to complete the necessary credentialing processes promptly upon booking. Professional references are required from former supervisors or managers. No coworker references will be accepted. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited nursing program.
