Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ER Holding Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in ER or ER Holding License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required Must-Have: ER experience required; MS/Tele experience preferred Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the ER Holding specialty. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the ER or ER Holding. Experience in medical-surgical/telemetry settings is preferred. The patient age group includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily patient census in the unit is approximately 32. Candidates should be proficient in various nursing skills, including arterial line management, central line care, and telemetry monitoring. Knowledge and experience with managing ventilated patients and administering cardiac and vasoactive drips are essential. The role requires the ability to interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias. The nurse will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with various support services. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems. References from previous supervisors or managers are required.
