What You'll Do
- Conduct evaluation of patients' functional status using formal and informal testing measures
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance
- Implement and adjust treatment strategies, including education on pathology, prognosis, and interventions
- Document patient progress and response accurately for billing and regulatory compliance
- Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants, aides, and students as appropriate
- Recommend adaptive and supportive equipment, coordinating procurement as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, procedures, and home programs
What You Need
Required:- Valid Michigan Occupational Therapist license or eligibility
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in outpatient settings preferred
- Strong assessment, planning, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in outpatient therapy with diverse patient populations
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
