Technical Program Manager, Manufacturing Controls Development

What to Expect We are seeking a Technical Program Manager with deep Manufacturing Controls Development expertise to join our team. The successful candidate will work side-by-side with cross-functional teams - including manufacturing, design, process, and automation, to program, commission, and scale new equipment for our energy products, vehicles, and Optimus programs. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience programming PLCs, HMIs, industrial robotics, and other manufacturing equipment, and can drive this technical expertise through to full project execution. This role requires high organization and a controls-oriented, "know-how-it's-done" mindset to anticipate needs and effectively plan controls engineering resourcing across multiple projects, locations, timelines, and priorities. You will collaborate with world-class manufacturing engineering, production, facilities, and quality teams to ensure timely execution and support controls engineers in bringing new equipment to life. You will work across our factories in Austin, Brookshire, Buffalo, Fremont, and Reno to triage project needs, resolve dependencies, and proactively clear roadblocks.
